From my very first meeting with Rachel and Jared, their dream was a meaningful and intimate wedding at the bride's family home which had recently been restored after Hurricane Sandy. They weren't just celebrating the love between two people, they were celebrating the love of home, family and tradition. Throughout the journey, we stayed true to their understated elegance by infusing personal touches and charming details. Rachel's pencil sketch of her family home was incorporated into their invitations. The escort card table was curated with her painting of a lush floral centerpiece. Oyster shells they collected on the beach in Cape Cod - where the groom's family vacations every summer - were used as escort cards. Oysters are also meaningful to their relationship -- their first date was at an oyster bar and Jared proposed over oysters. So many other thoughtful touches that would take too long to mention here, but what stands out most in these images is their genuine love and joy in having found one another.
